How I Can Help
As an advocate for the disabled and geriatric individual I work on behalf of them and their families on multiple levels. Acting as a healthcare advocate, I attend doctor appts and ensuring all parties are apprised of the treatment. I spear-head a multidisciplinary-vetted team with the individual and family as the center. The goal is to have all professionals work towards the one goal that will meet all needs. This would include doctors, therapists, home-care, and /or facilities. Follow through and consistency is key. Some of the other services provided are bill paying and set-up, setting up transportation, contact insurance companies, referring betted professionals like home care. Helping to find a better solution is the motto.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Many years ago, I was gifted the with opportunity to help my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's. Though this was not in anyway, an easy task, I was thrilled to help her. In doing so, I ran across several incidents that were alarming (finally illegal) and I made it my life's passion to want to avoid those incidents from happening again with other families. Someone needs to speak on behalf of our most vulnerable population. With my experience, I will fight the good fight.
