Why I Became a Professional Health Care Advocate
**BECAUSE COMMUNICATION IN HEALTHCARE SETTINGS IS VITAL TO PATIENT SAFETY AND HEALTH OUTCOMES**

I work to ease the stress of caregivers and patients; to improve the quality and clarity of healthcare communications; to help clients strive for the best care outcomes and quality of life; and to support terminally ill clients on hospice to have peaceful, pain-free deaths with dignity.

I have spent 15 years and hundreds of hours accompanying family to medical appointments, providing 24/7 oversight during hospital admissions, and providing care coordination. I have helped family, friends, and clients journey through a range of medical diagnoses. I have provided consultations on end-of-life care and assisted families with their caregiving and hospice experiences.
