I have over 25 years of experience as an elder care and disability advocate. As an expert in aging and disability I have developed innovative care models and programs including bio-psychosocial care management models to address the needs for elders, dual diagnosis/behavioral health and individual with disabilities. Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have been a Registered Nurse for 40+ years, my passion for caring for others is rooted in my childhood with a disabled brother and intergenerational living with my maternal grandmother living with us. I also cared for my mother in our home and was her advocate for the last 5 years of her aging journey. I was the director of 5 county care management services for 20 years and now have a private care management practice that supports client in family through their journey with a professional advocate each step of the way. I have had the privilege of working with patient/clients from pediatric to geriatric, individual with behavioral health and addiction, with strong skills in advocating for client and their families navigating the challenges of dementia care.
