I can assist someone newly diagnosed to a chronic condition and the basics of navigating the U.S. healthcare system. I'm an expert in migraine but am familiar with several other chronic pain conditions. While I cannot offer medical advice, I can assist with finding resources including financial resources.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I am a queer disabled patient advocate occupying Tongva Land. I have chronic migraine with aura, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, hepatitis B, hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ADHD, and other chronic conditions.
My advocacy journey began in September of 2021 when my migraine attacks started occurring daily (and still continue to, to this day) after eight years of episodic migraine attacks. A combination of lack of awareness, medical racism, and cultural norms prevented me from getting the proper care till it was too late. I share my story and offer up my knowledge to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
My work focuses on migraine education and awareness and the social inequalities of the healthcare system and the impacts it has on multi-marginalized populations. You can learn more about my work on Instagram: @kelseysmigraine.
