How I Can Help
My mission is to provide you and your loved ones with guidance to medical solutions that bring clarity and peace of mind. I do this working along side you by gathering and completing a comprehensive health history and list of medications that can be shared with the healthcare team. I provide care coordination services, help with transitions of care, research to find the best treatment centers and physician specialists to meet your needs, attend doctor appointments (virtually), help to resolve health insurance and billing issues, prepare/file appeals and grievances on your behalf. We work together with you in the driver's seat directing the process.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I see RN Patient Advocacy as my personal mission. It's a compilation of my 35+ years of nursing in hospitals-where I provided bedside nursing, complex discharge planning, care coordination, supervisory work in home care, public health and 20 years working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (where I worked as a Case Manager, Medical Claims, Appeals and Grievances). I've also had personal experience in advocating for family members and friends through a myriad of challenges. I feel called to do this important work at a time when our Healthcare system no longer places you, the patient, first. When you're struggling to deal with a difficult diagnosis or complex health condition and you have difficulty navigating through the healthcare maze, you need and deserve to have a trusted nurse by your side, looking out for YOU!
