Why I Became a Professional Health Care Advocate
Patient advocacy became a focus for Catherine after experiencing first hand the lack of coordination in the care of her younger brother David, who suffered from several chronic conditions that required multiple hospitalizations. After his death in December of 2019, Catherine formalized her advocacy efforts and became a Board Certified Patient Advocate. In the memory of her beloved brother, Catherine now works to help others navigate our complicated and often confusing healthcare systems.
