We are Registered Nurses who make sure you understand your condition and the the care you are receiving; accompany you to appointments to listen, take notes and ask appropriate questions; collaborate with your providers to ensure everyone has complete information to provide the best care; and communicate with family members/significant others as desired.

Proactive Health Advocates was founded at the urging and support of friends and family members for whom I have advocated during their illness. I consistently heard "I wouldn't have know to ask that", If it wasn't for you, I would be totally lost trying to figure out how to manage all of this", "Before I started working with you, I felt so alone", and "This is a service so many people need". My healthcare career has taken me through bedside care, leadership positions in hospitals, health insurance companies, home health and physician practices. Helping individuals and families navigate their healthcare and providing them with peace of mind is bar far the most satisfying role of my career.
